Satthuvi Satsang
Welcome to Satthuvi Satsang™—a sacred sanctuary for seekers of Truth, where the journey of personal awakening unfolds in a space of stillness, inquiry, and connection. Rooted in the essence of Satsang—meaning both “Sacred Truth” and “Spiritual Community”—this gathering invites you to explore the deepest dimensions of your being. Within this serene environment, introspection blossoms, allowing you to reconnect with your innermost Self through heartfelt dialogue, shared silence, and profound insight.
Guided personally by Satthuvi, participants are encouraged to share openly, ask questions, and engage in honest inner inquiry. His intuitive teachings adapt to the energy of the group, offering personalised wisdom, healing, and support. Techniques such as trance and regression may be gently introduced to uncover the root of emotional pain, dissolve limiting beliefs, and restore energetic flow. As your Cakkas are reactivated and the Energy Body realigned, healing often occurs not just individually, but collectively—amplified by the resonance of group presence and shared intention.
Drawing from diverse Buddhist traditions and a spiritually minimalist approach, Satthuvi focuses on experience over doctrine—inviting you to live from intuition, presence, and Higher Self. Whether you join a group Satsang or immerse yourself in a longer Satsang Retreat—often held in breathtaking natural landscapes—each gathering becomes a portal to realignment, rest, and rediscovery. Satthuvi Satsang™ offers more than teachings—it offers transformation. Come home to your True Self, reconnect with universal wisdom, and awaken the divine within you.
The Path of Meditatefulness
Satthuvi Meditatefulness™ is a holistic practice rooted in Buddhist wisdom, designed to cultivate deep awareness and presence in daily life. It empowers individuals to make intentional choices around their emotional and mental states, fostering greater clarity and balance. By weaving mindfulness into everyday routines—whether at work, during rest, while walking, or when managing stress—practitioners build resilience and strengthen their overall sense of well-being. When practised consistently, Meditatefulness™ becomes a gateway to higher consciousness and the unfolding of one’s true life purpose.
At the heart of the practice lies the structured journey through the nine levels of Jhana—progressive states of meditative absorption that guide the practitioner from initial joy and serenity toward profound stillness and ego transcendence. Each level opens new dimensions of insight, enhancing both concentration and intuitive awareness. This deepening of inner stillness not only transforms one’s perception of reality but also sharpens self-awareness, offering practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater wisdom and equanimity.
In professional environments, Meditatefulness™ supports the cultivation of a powerful flow state—marked by enhanced focus, clear intention, and intrinsic motivation. It trains the mind to pause, reflect, and act consciously, leading to more deliberate decisions and fewer reactive impulses. This clarity under pressure fosters stronger leadership, thoughtful communication, and sustainable productivity. Beyond performance, Meditatefulness™ also stimulates creative thinking—encouraging openness, innovation, and collaborative problem-solving that elevate both individual and team potential.
Kammatthana Meditation
Satthuvi Kammatthana Meditation™ is a foundational practice of the Theravada Esoteric Tradition, offering a deeply intentional path to spiritual awakening and inner mastery. The term Kammatthana means “the place of Kamma (karma)” or “the place of work,” pointing to its core principle: self-transformation through deliberate inner effort. Practitioners work with each Cakka (chakra) individually, using refined breathing techniques and sacred Pali mantras to channel Universal Energy into these vital centres. This energising process activates the unique qualities of each Cakka—unlocking healing, empowerment, and clarity. Satthuvi’s transmission of this rare tradition is rooted in the teachings of his root teacher, known as the Master—a forest monk who spent over 20 years in solitary meditation uncovering techniques to harness Universal Energy for awakening and self-liberation.
Those who practise Kammatthana frequently report a deepening sense of inner stillness, mental clarity, and emotional balance. As energy flows freely through the body, practitioners often experience increased vitality, improved sleep, sharper focus, and a profound release from limiting patterns. Many also note the emergence of intuitive and psychic abilities, access to higher states of absorption (Jhana), and spontaneous insights that transform their understanding of self and reality. As Kammatthana is deepened over time, it becomes not just a practice, but a way of living in harmony with one’s highest nature.
Historically, Kammatthana Meditation was central to Theravada practice across Southeast Asia—until the 19th century, when colonial influence led to its suppression in favour of Vipassana, a system more aligned with Western expectations and textual orthodoxy. This shift nearly erased a powerful, experiential lineage of esoteric meditation. Today, through Satthuvi’s revival of this sacred tradition, Kammatthana is being restored as a living path for those seeking true depth. The historical erasure and spiritual significance of this practice have been rigorously examined by Professor Kate Crosby in her groundbreaking work, Esoteric Theravāda: The Story of the Forgotten Meditation Tradition of Southeast Asia. Through this resurgence, Satthuvi Kammatthana Meditation™ invites a new generation to reclaim this potent tool for transformation and awakening.
The the three fundamental works that describe Kammatthana Meditation are:
"The Path of Purification" (Visuddhimagga) by Buddhaghosa - This foundational text about Buddhist meditation techniques features Kammatthana and emphasises the importance of concentration and insight in achieving purification of the mind.
https://www.accesstoinsight.org/lib/authors/nanamoli/PathofPurification2011.pdf
"Sutta Pitaka" (Discourses of the Buddha) – Pali Canon - This collection contains the direct teachings of the Buddha on Kammatthana objects and Jhana practice, including key suttas that outline mindfulness foundations.
"Vimuttimagga" (The Path of Freedom) by Upatissa - A predecessor to the Visuddhimagga, this text offers a simplified approach to the 40 Kammatthana objects, making it accessible for practitioners.
Anarammana Meditation
Satthuvi Anarammana Meditation™, meaning “objectless meditation”, begins with the foundational practice of Anapanasati—mindfulness of breathing. Practitioners settle into a still, comfortable posture and gently rest their attention on the natural rhythm of the breath, observing each inhalation and exhalation without interference. This initial focus serves as an anchor, quietening the mind and fostering inner presence. As awareness deepens, practitioners gradually open to include thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations—watching them arise and pass with non-attachment and without judgement.
Through consistent practice, meditators begin to observe their thoughts from a place of distance, recognising them not as truths or self-definitions, but as fleeting mental phenomena. Emotions and physical sensations are held in compassionate awareness, revealing their impermanence and loosening their grip. This equanimous observation leads to a shift in identity—from one caught in mental and emotional reactivity to one rooted in stillness and clarity. As attachment to form dissolves, a deeper connection to one’s True Nature begins to emerge.
In its more advanced stages, Anarammana Meditation™ gently guides the practitioner into the formless realm of Sunyata—emptiness. Here, the concept of objects (kasinas)—whether internal or external—gradually dissolves. This experience of spacious awareness is marked by profound stillness, inner freedom, and a release from the habitual grasping of identity and perception. In this state of objectless presence, the meditator rests in pure awareness, free from the need to define or hold on to anything. It is here that the essence of existence can be experienced most directly—unfiltered, silent, and whole
Nimitta Manifestation
Satthuvi Nimitta Manifestation™ is a powerful meditative practice rooted in the understanding that the astral realm holds a greater capacity for creation than the physical world—where thoughts and intentions can manifest with far more immediacy. Practitioners enter deep states of meditation, often reaching the alpha brainwave state, a space of relaxed awareness and heightened creativity. This altered state is accessed through a specific trance-inducing mantra, opening the gateway to the astral plane. Within this realm, the mind becomes highly receptive, allowing one to interact with subtle energies that support conscious manifestation.
Once in the astral field, practitioners engage in focused, intentional visualisation, constructing their desired experiences or objects with rich emotional and sensory detail. This goes far beyond passive imagining—it’s an act of conscious creation aligned with the Law of Higher Attraction, which states: “All reality is manifested from Consciousness.” Through this process, practitioners bring their visions to life on the astral level, laying the energetic blueprint for physical manifestation. For these creations to materialise in the physical world, they must honour the natural laws of reality and align with one’s Higher Self and Life Purpose—ensuring manifestation is both authentic and sustainable.
Upon completing the manifestation, practitioners gently return to waking consciousness through grounding breathwork, anchoring the energy and intention of their creations into their physical body. Practices such as mindful breathing, walking in nature, or connecting with the earth help to integrate the experience and solidify the bridge between realms. When practised consistently, Nimitta Manifestation™ strengthens one’s ability to create intentionally—turning subtle vision into tangible reality. It is a profound tool for those ready to manifest a life in alignment with their soul’s true calling.
Soundscape Japa
Satthuvi Soundscape Japa™ is a revitalising meditative practice that immerses participants in a rich, multi-layered soundscape while engaging in the sacred repetition of mantras. Through the rhythmic recitation of ancient phrases, paired with soothing auditory textures, individuals are gently guided into a state of heightened presence and inner stillness. The interplay between voice and vibration creates a powerful energetic field, allowing participants to attune more deeply to the moment and experience a profound sense of peace and grounding.
Each session unfolds as a guided sonic journey, where chanting and ambient sound blend to foster emotional release, spiritual clarity, and deep reflection. The resonance of collective voices combined with carefully curated sound waves provides a space for healing, insight, and energetic reset. As the session deepens, the shared frequency of the group enhances the meditative field, cultivating a sense of unity and support. This communal energy not only amplifies the practice but also encourages participants to connect with their meditatefulness and inner truth.
The Soundscape Japa Soirée is a heart-centred, community-based gathering, designed to bring people together in an atmosphere of warmth, reverence, and shared intention. Blending sacred mantra with the natural beauty of sound—from instruments to elemental tones—these events create an immersive experience where spirituality becomes tangible and joyful. The ambiance is carefully curated to encourage openness, connection, and relaxation—inviting participants to deepen their personal journey while celebrating the power of collective practice.
Drance - Dancing in Trance
The Satthuvi Drance™ - the Path to Healing through Dance is a holistic sound and somatic movement therapy system that guides participants through a transformative journey of self-discovery, emotional release, and spiritual connection. This innovative approach consists of twelve distinct stages called the Movement Dodecagram™, each characterised by unique rhythms, movements, and chakra focuses that facilitate a deeper understanding of oneself and the interconnectedness of all beings. By engaging with these stages that represent life trajectory, individuals are encouraged to explore their inner landscapes, confront their emotions, and experience the totality of life from birth to peak and from peak to death.
The initial stages of Drance emphasise grounding and self-awareness, allowing participants to connect with their bodies and emotions. As they progress through the stages, they encounter various rhythmic techniques that challenge conventional patterns, fostering creativity and authentic self-expression. The incorporation of shaking, harmonic integration, and pulsating rhythms promotes emotional release and catharsis, while deeper trance states facilitate introspection and spiritual awakening. Each stage resonates with specific chakras, highlighting the importance of energy flow and balance within the body, ultimately leading to a more harmonious existence.
As participants move towards the later stages of Drance, they experience profound transformations that encompass both personal and collective healing. The journey culminates in celebratory expressions of joy and gratitude, reinforcing the importance of community and shared experiences. By connecting with their inner wisdom and the divine, individuals not only celebrate their own lives but also cultivate a sense of omni-consciousness that transcends individual experiences. Drance serves as a powerful reminder of the healing potential of dance and movement, inviting participants to embrace their true selves and the beauty of existence.
Yuddha Martial Arts
Yuddha Martial Arts™ is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary system that fuses techniques from a wide spectrum of Eastern martial arts into a versatile and effective method of self-defence and combat mastery. Drawing from the close-range precision of Wing Chun, the flowing redirection of Aikido and Jujitsu, and the ground-fighting expertise of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the system equips practitioners for every range of conflict. It also integrates the powerful kicking techniques of Taekwondo, the stealth strategies of Ninjutsu, and the fluidity of Tai Chi and Shaolin Kung Fu. Satthuvi began his martial journey at the age of 12, winning numerous competitions in Judo and becoming national champion, earning a black belt in Wing Chun, becoming a coach, and dedicating years to understanding the core principles that unite these diverse systems.
At the heart of Satthuvi Yuddha™ lies the art of working with energy. The system emphasises circular and spiral force dynamics—training practitioners to move with precision, awareness, and flow. Through slow-motion forms, students develop meditatefulness, timing, and body intelligence, enabling them to respond intuitively in real-life confrontations. More than physical conditioning, this practice instils the warrior mindset—one of discipline, resilience, and clarity in the face of adversity.
As students progress, they are introduced to esoteric energy techniques and deeper principles rooted in Buddhist mysticism and Zen philosophy. These teachings stress mindfulness, presence, and the unification of body, mind, and spirit. Satthuvi Yuddha™ is not just a martial art—it is a spiritual path. It develops not only capable fighters but also conscious human beings, equipped to move through the world with grace, strength, and unwavering purpose.

Satthuvi Pilgrimage
The Satthuvi Pilgrimage™ is a sacred, annual journey that invites a select group of seekers to retrace the footsteps of Buddha Sakyamuni—and those of Satthuvi himself during his own four-year spiritual odyssey across Asia. This is far more than a travel experience; it is a transformational pilgrimage, designed to immerse participants in the living essence of the Buddha’s path. Each year, pilgrims visit revered sites where history, legend, and spirit converge—guided by daily meditations, teachings, and moments of profound inner stillness. It is an invitation to awaken, to reflect, and to align more deeply with the timeless wisdom of the Dharma.
Each pilgrimage focuses on a different country central to the life and legacy of the Buddha. In India, participants may visit Lumbini, the peaceful birthplace of the Buddha, or meditate beneath the Bodhi Tree in Bodh Gaya, the site of his enlightenment. Another year may take pilgrims to Nepal, exploring the sacred gardens of Lumbini once more, or receiving teachings in the ancient monasteries of Swayambhunath and Boudhanath. Daily practices—ranging from Kammatthana Meditation™ to Dharma-inspired reflection—create a nurturing container for integrating the teachings and cultivating mindfulness, compassion, and presence.
The journey may also extend to Sri Lanka, where pilgrims visit the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy or sit in silence near the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi in Anuradhapura. In Myanmar, the luminous Shwedagon Pagoda offers a space for deep reverence, while Thailand invites pilgrims to explore sites such as Wat Phra Kaew and the ancient city of Ayutthaya. Each year, as the pilgrimage moves across borders and cultures, the inner journey deepens—revealing new layers of understanding, healing, and inspiration. The Satthuvi Pilgrimage™ is a rare opportunity to embody the Buddha’s teachings, not as distant doctrine, but as a living, breathing path—one that continues to unfold long after the journey ends.
